AI-Optimized Electrical Discharge Machining for Precision Manufacturing Abstract Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is a widely used non-traditional machining process that provides high precision and complex geometrical shapes in hard-to-machine materials. However, optimizing EDM parameters remains a challenge due to its stochastic nature and dependency on multiple process variables. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques in EDM has emerged as a transformative approach to enhance efficiency, precision, and surface quality. This study explores various AI-based methodologies such as machine learning, artificial neural networks, fuzzy logic, and genetic algorithms for optimizing EDM process parameters. The aim is to develop a comprehensive AI-based optimization framework to improve machining performance, reduce tool wear, and enhance material removal rates.
