Beschreibung
In a climate-ravaged future, survival demands sacrifice. It is 2084 on Bajacu, where the sun scorches the land, forcing people to live by night. When another evacuation order threatens their home, Sorrel persuades her mother, Bibi, to flee to the mountains, seeking refuge among the rumored Tribals. Their journey becomes a tense odyssey of survival, evading brutal Domins and feral creatures, where the lines between self-preservation and maternal love blur.

Will Sorrel and Bibi find sanctuary, or will the desperate choices ahead test their bond to its breaking point? For readers of dystopian fiction and Caribbean voices, Daylight Come explores the resilience of the human spirit against the backdrop of a world forever changed.
