Über den Autor

Neil Gopee is currently a part-time lecturer in Health and Care at Coventry University, having previously worked as full-time senior lecturer at the same university for thirty years, and also as Associate Lecturer for the Open University. He has also worked as external examiner at various Higher Education Institutions, which has given Neil wide-ranging insights into his two cognate areas: (1) management and leadership in care settings, and (2) learning, teaching and assessment, at both under- and post-graduate levels.

Having qualified in Adult Nursing, as well as in Mental Health Nursing, Neil's nursing career has encompassed extensive clinical experiences spanning critical care to primary healthcare. Studying for his doctorate provided Neil with further in-depth insights into his subject areas, as did his external examiner duties at several HEIs and as reviewer for Nursing journals. His publications include various peer-reviewed articles, and two other textbooks: Supervision of Learning and Assessment in Healthcare and Practice Teaching in Healthcare.
