Über den Autor

Historian Debra Faulkner grew up in Colorado and has fond childhood memories of summer visits to the original Elitch Gardens. Her favorite rides were the Flying Swings and the Bumper Cars. Debra is the award-winning author of Touching Tomorrow: The EmilyGriffith Story. She is the co-author of two books with Dr. Tom Noel - Colorado: An Illustrated History of the Highest State and Colorado's Story. She loves to bring the women of Colorado's past to life in programs. Dressed up in old-fashioned costumes, she tells their stories as though she were the historical person herself. Her students at Metropolitan State College of Denver never know who she might appear as next .
