Trish MacEnulty has been a journalist and a professor of journalism and English; she writes historical fiction, literary short stories, and memoirs. She earned degrees from the University of Florida and Florida State University, where her passion for deep research and historical accuracy was cultivated. Through her association with the Historical Novel Society, she is a regular contributor to the Historical Novels Review. For 20 years, she lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she was a Professor of English at Johnson & Wales University, teaching writing and film classes. She now lives in Florida and teaches journalism.
