12 Lectures On The Creative Power of Imagination From The World's Greatest Mystic

From beginning to end, the Bible speaks only of the creative power of God. You can take that same creative power and use it here in the world of Caesar, for it is your own wonderful human imagination. If you will conjure a scene which would imply the fulfillment of your dream and remain faithful to that vision as Paul was to the heavenly vision, your desire will come to pass. Paul did not expect the vision. It came upon him suddenly, like some great catastrophic earthquake. You cannot conjure the vision, it simply happens. But you can conjure a scene which would imply the fulfillment of your desire, remain faithful to it and it will project itself upon the screen of space. Ive done it unnumbered times. Take a simple scene. Would someone congratulate you if they heard of your good fortune? Then allow them to do so. Accept their congratulations, just as you would if they came to you in the flesh. Now remain faithful to that vision. If you need a more complex scene, like two people discussing your success, eavesdrop on them. Listen to their words of praise or envy, then do not forget that vision. Conjured in your imagination, carry it with you, knowing that what it implies will come to pass, for its potency is not in the scene itself, but what the scene implies. - Neville Goddard

Über den Autor
Neville Goddard (1905-1972), often published simply as Neville, was a Barbadian-born writer, lecturer, and spiritual teacher whose work became one of the most influential expressions of twentieth-century New Thought and metaphysical self-help. Born in Barbados, he moved to the United States as a young man and eventually became known for lectures and books centered on imagination, consciousness, assumption, scripture, and the creative power of inner belief.Goddard's teaching differs from many practical success writers because he grounds personal transformation in a mystical interpretation of the Bible. He argued that biblical stories should be read psychologically and spiritually rather than merely historically, with Christ, God, and scripture understood as living realities within human consciousness. His central claim was that imagination is divine creative power and that the assumptions a person accepts inwardly shape the conditions they experience [...] his best-known works are Feeling Is the Secret, The Power of Awareness, Awakened Imagination, Your Faith Is Your Fortune, Out of This World, and The Law and the Promise. His lectures and books continue to attract readers interested in manifestation, the law of assumption, affirmations, creative visualization, mystical Christianity, and the relationship between self-concept and lived experience. Long after his death, Goddard remains a major figure for readers seeking a spiritually charged approach to self-development and conscious creation.
