Neville Goddard (1905-1972), often published simply as Neville, was a Barbadian-born writer, lecturer, and spiritual teacher whose work became one of the most influential expressions of twentieth-century New Thought and metaphysical self-help. Born in Barbados, he moved to the United States as a young man and eventually became known for lectures and books centered on imagination, consciousness, assumption, scripture, and the creative power of inner belief.Goddard's teaching differs from many practical success writers because he grounds personal transformation in a mystical interpretation of the Bible.
