Bane Woods finds working as a Used Brooms Salesman unfulfilling. He can't shake the feeling that he's falling behind, particularly as his brilliant girlfriend nears graduation from law school. As Bane's obsession grows, he begins to lose sight of the things most important to him. But if he can't afford to propose to his girlfriend, will they ever live happily ever after?
